Pakistan Star Pacer Facing Visa Issues For T20 World Cup in Ireland: Excited For T20 World Cup? Everyone is waiting for the T20 World Cup which is going to start next month in the West Indies and USA. And mainly everyone looks for the India – Pakistan match that will be held in Ireland.

Also, reports came out from the Pakistan team that, as everyone got a VISA for the Ireland tour, one pacer Mohammad Amir who is the premier pacer has an issue with VISA.

Anyway, Pakistan Cricket Board is hoping that he will get clearance soon.

Is Mohammad Amir out of the T20 World Cup 2024?

Pakistan’s preparation for the T20 World Cup has started to travel for the United Kingdom, Ireland, and also for the West Indies. Ahead of this upcoming tour of Ireland, Mohammad Amir has got a VISA issue because of his jail time in his spot-fixing case.

Pakistan is going to play a three-match T20I series, which is going to start from May 10. Even in 2018, Amir had VISA issues due to a spot-fixing case in 2010. And again now he got the issue.

According to the report by the Press Trust of India, (PTI),

“Because of the spot-fixing case of 2010 and his subsequent jail term and ban his visa is still being processed. We are hopeful he will get his visa in a day or two and he can join them later.”

Recently, they also announced their 15-member squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup. Everyone in the squad including the Pakistan Cricket Board, is hoping for the clearance of the VISA issue within two to three days.
