Mohammad Shami Says,”Whoever is Playing Well in IPL Will Be Picked Up For T20 WC”: India Star Bowler Mohammad Shami has sidelined with an injury and he is eagerly waiting to enter into the cricket again. As he didnt enter into the ground till now after completion of T20 World Cup 2023.

Even though, he missed first three games in the World Cup, he had shown his performances and stood as the highest wicket taker. He has been a established as a prominent figure in both the tests and ODI formats.

He has been given stellar performance in the IPL 2022 & 2023. Now, Shami believes that the upcoming IPL is important to play as it decides the selection into T20 World Cup.

2023 is the cherished year for Mohammad Shami, he had played seven games. Shami while speaking to News24, he said that

“There’s still a lot of time. There’s an IPL before that. Whoever is playing well should be picked for the T20 World Cup. It’s important to be selecting the team basis the combination. If I’m performing well, I should be selected. Who will say no to the World Cup?”

As shami is sidelined due to injury without playing any of the games, ahead of him, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammad Siraj is taking rest for the upcoming matches.
