MS Dhoni Viral Reply RCB fan urges CSK captain to join Kohli lead Banglore to IPL 2024 glory

IPL 2024: It’s hard to imagine MS Dhoni in any other colour apart from a Yellow jersey in the IPL (Indian Premier League). Dhoni has been instrumental in CSK’s stunning success in the league having led them to a record equal to five IPL titles and an impressive 10 finals in just 14 seasons that the franchise has been part of the league. MS Dhoni has been leading the CSK franchise since the inaugural edition of the tournament in 2018 and became one of the most successful captains of all time in the IPL league.

Apart from MS Dhoni, Rohit Sharma is another captain who won 5 IPL titles with one team i.e. Mumbai Indians. However, Dhoni is ahead of Rohit in terms of consistency having won 133 out of 226 matches as captain with a winning percentage of 58.84. Rohit has 87 wins under his belt in 157 matches with a percentage of 55.06. While both CSK and MI have won the IPL title five times each, Virat Kohli leading RCB is still searching for their maiden title triumph.

The countdown for the IPL season 17 has been started after a successful and exciting conclusion of the mini-auction in Dubai on Tuesday. It is noted that CSK, MI, and RCB are the three teams with massive fanbases and popularity across various platforms as they have Dhoni, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli on their team.

Fans witnessed an interesting topic ahead of the IPL 2024 season when Shoni was recently requested by an RCB fan to speak in support of the Royal Challengers Banglore franchise in an event and win them a title. “I am a die-hard RCB fan from 16 yeras. Like the way you have won 5 IPL titles for CSK, I want you to come to support us and win one title for us”, a fan requested CSK skipper MS Dhoni.

MS Dhoni internet breaking response to that question. “They are a very good team. But What you also need to know is that in cricket, everything doesn’t go according to plan. So If you’re talking about the IPL, all the 10 teams, more often than not, if they have the good players, all of them are very strong,” Dhoni said.

“The problem arises if you are missing a few players because of injury or reasons like that. So they have a very good team and everyone has a fair chance in the IPL. As of now, I have so many things to worry about my team. I’d like to wish every team all the very best. But I can’t do more than that because imagine me going out of the way to help other teams, how will fans feel?” he added.

Chennai Super Kings defeated Gujarat Titans last year in the finals to equal Mumbai Indian’s IPL titles and will look to surpass them with another one when they once again take the field in the upcoming league. Other side, RCB have been one of the few unluckiest sides who haven’t lifted the IPL title yet despite coming close to it 3 times.

RCB came to finals in the 2009, 2011 and 2016 seasons but ended up losing against Deccan Charges, CSK and SRH respectively. RCB concluded in the 6th place in the last IPL season as they failed to reach the playoffs after losing a must-win match against Gujarat Titans for a position in the final tour.
