Interestingly, during the CSK vs PBKS match, Mahendra Singh Dhoni was dismissed as the seventh batter for CSK. Punjab Kings took note of this and playfully mocked the 42-year-old cricketer with a post mentioned. “Dhoni was our 7th wicket today! Thala for a reason!”

The former CSK captain experienced his first dismissal in the 17th season of the lucrative league. Dhoni was run out on the last ball of CSK’s innings while attempting to complete a second run. The wicketkeeper-batter scored 14 runs off 11 balls at a strike rate of 127.27.
