RR Skipper Celebrated His 10th Anniversary With the Franchise: Ahead of the KKR clash for Rajasthan Royals, RR shared a tribute for Sanju Samson who is the skipper of Rajasthan Royals and he celebrated his 10th anniversary with the franchise.

RR put on a tribute video for sanju samson for his Anniversary special.

Rajasthan Royals paid tribute to Sanju Samson On His Anniversary

Kerala Wicket Keeper Sanju Samson is the only captain for Rajasthan Royals after Shane Warne and played the most matches. After Sanju was named as captain in 2021.

The Kerala star would return to RR after their two-year ban in 2018 and has since been with the franchise. As he has completed 10 years, the franchise celebrated the anniversary, and also now a video that came out in which Riyan Parag and head coach Sangakkara celebrated the anniversary.

Parag in that video said that,

“It’s been six years with Sanju bhaiyya. He always had the presence of being an actual captain. He was always there. He was always making those decisions on the field, off the field. He was always there in the leadership group. He is a captain I want to win games for. That’s the best captain you can have.”

Samson on celebrating this 10th anniversary with the franchise said,

“I think everyone has rooted for him all the time. The more he has played, the more people have seen what a great servant he has been, not just for Rajasthan, but for India as well for the long-term.”

“I think is just the start for him in the later part of his career. He is only 29, he has got a good 8-9 years left in him with this franchise. I think it is emotionally and professionally his home.”

Samson has scored 264 runs in 6 matches for RR so far and is third on the Orange Cap standings. RR and Samson will next be in action against KKR on April 16.
