Shradul Thakur Reunites With CSK & Rachin Play Under MS Dhoni: Even though everyone is ready for the action, there will be changes made at the last minute. Like that, Chennai Super Kings even though it is active early in the Auction of IPL 2024, which is going on on December 19.

They bought Shardul Thakur and Rachin Ravindra who is a New Zealand All-Rounder for the CSK at Rs. 4 Crore and Rs. 1.80 Crore at the first bidding for players in the Coca-Cola arena in Dubai.

Indian all-rounder Shradul Thakur made a move to Chennai Super Kings for a noteworthy of Rs. 4 Crore. Previously he was in Kolkata Knight Riders and they were released for bidding.

Shradul represented India in 10 Tests, 47 ODIs, and 25 T20Is, so far. As Dhoni is the captain of CSK, he has taken Thakur into his team after being released from KKR. In IPL 2022, he was in DC’s team and then he was sold to KKR.

For Thakur, this is like coming back home as he is the key contributor to CSK’s 2019 and 2019 IPL success. And CSK Vice Captain, Suresh Raina has spoken about Thakur and said that,

“He is very similar to Pat Cummins. He has done well in the bowling department as well as with the bat. KKR, I don’t think used him in that manner. When he played for CSK, he has done well.

He brought a lot of quality with the older ball as well as the new ball. (Deepak) Chahar is a bit injury-prone, and (Matheesha) Pathirana also is. He is an all-rounder like Deepak Chahar.”

Coming to New Zealand all-rounder Rachin Ravindra, made his mark in the World Cup Campaign and he became famous with his game as we all have seen his game.

He was bought by Chennai Super Kings for a net worth of Rs.1.8 crore by considering his potential with both bat and ball.

Chennai Super Kings even looked for Pat Cummins and Travis Head, but SunRisers Hyderabad set and broke the bank and bought for Rs. 20.50 Crore.
