“Here We Go Again!..” By Yuzvendra Chahal on Selecting For Upcoming ODI Series With SA

Yuzvendra Chahal who is the leg spinner with exceptional prowess has had good form in the domestic market and IPL for the past two years. After the semi-final exit in the 2019 World Cup, he did not get a chance to participate in the 2023 World Cup.

Now again he roared back into the limelight with a stellar performance in the Vijay Hazare Trophy as he took a remarkable six-wicket haul against Uttarakhand. His journey for coming back to the India team is not easy.

And it was well received by the fans and it shows that he again will become a normal member of India team.

Chahal might also be hoping that he wanted to impact in the series especially as T20 World cup is having next year. Till now he played 72 ODIs and in that he has taken 121 dismissals. And his experience might help India in the upcoming ODI going to held from December 17 to December 21.

And also the absence of stalwarts like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli from the white-ball Cricket indicates a thoughtful strategic decision. Anyways India named three captains for the South Africa ODI.
