Former Indian Pacer Says Winning South Africa at South Africa is Like Winning WC

Former Indian Pacer Says Winning South Africa at South Africa is Like Winning WC: Every Indian got very excited for the World Cup 2023 previously as India’s team had made excellent performances till the semi-finals, by winning all the matches against every team, but unfortunately, it didn’t hit world cup.

So everyone got very disappointed and went back home from the stadium and even the India team had tears in their eyes as it was a heartbreak for them.

But presently team India is concentrating on many other matches. Also, it won the T20I series against Australia. India has toured Rainbow Nations many times, but it did not win even once. So many of them think that winning against SA in South Africa will be like winning the World Cup.

“I think this is the best opportunity…” By S. Sreesanth

After India lost the opportunity of winning the World Cup 2023 after 4 years against Australia, some former Indian pacers say that winning the South Africa tour in SA will be like winning the World Cup as it has not won till now.

In the 1990s and 2000s south Africa was far better, but it has changed from the last 10 years. Former Indian Pacers says about South Africa tour is that,

“I think this is the best opportunity. Since the time South Africa came back into the international scene, this time we do have a great opportunity and a great chance to win a series there which is like a dream come true.”

“I would love to see India winning the Test series. It will be like winning the World Cup because winning against South Africa in South Africa is not going to be easy but as the Star Sports ad says, ‘Mazaa aayega’,”

Watch: South Africa Squad for white ball series

Every line has been told by S. Sreesanth in the exclusive chat with the first post on the sidelines of Legends League Cricket. He also added by saying,

“Anybody playing at home will have their advantages. But thanks to the Indians across the globe especially in South Africa. I remember South Africa’s 2007 World Cup semi-finals and even the final where we didn’t feel as if we were in South Africa because it was a lot of Indians.

So now I’m very confident this year, with all the social sites and media across the globe, there will be more Indians to watch the India-South Africa match than South Africans.

“So I would love to see more Indian flags there and it helps the team also. So this is the best opportunity. I think the biggest difference is the crowd but it will be slightly better for India. And the conditions there man.

It’s not going to be that easy, but the fast bowlers we saw during the World Cup also, they’ve got some very good pace attacks as well.

“But then Indian team, it’s not just Bumrah, it’s not just Shami, it’s not just Siraj. We have lots of bowlers who are waiting in the wings. Even our India A squad is doing extremely well. I’m very confident that this is the series where India is going to win in South Africa.”
