Harbhajan Singh Warns Sarfaraz Khan before IND vs ENG 2nd Test

Harbhajan Singh Warns Sarfaraz Khan before IND vs ENG 2nd Test: Due to the loss of series openers against England in the 2nd test series innings, BCCI decided to strengthen the team by adding Sarfaraz Khan, Sourabh Kumar, and Washington Sundar as backups for the match commencing in Vizag.

Despite that, the hosts face a hard choice in picking one between Sarfaraz Khan and Rajat Patidar for the upcoming Test. The second Test between hosts India and England will take place in Visakhapatnam, to level the series 1-1 in the continuous ICC World Test Championship (WTC).

‘Sarfaraz Khan will have to make the most of this chance…’ Harbhajan Singh Warns Sarfaraz Khan before IND vs ENG 2nd Test

While speaking in support of Sarfaraz Khan, the former Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh considers that the uncrowned star batter Sarfaraz needs to take this chance seriously and give his best shot in the coming match of the England series.

Harbhajan Singh stated on his YouTube Channel,

“Sarfaraz Khan will have to make the most of this chance because when Virat Kohli returns, someone will have to go out. So, he cannot afford to waste this opportunity. He has worked very hard and piled up a lot of runs in domestic cricket”.

‘The team should go with Kuldeep Yadav’, Declares Harbhajan Singh

However, the report states Harbhajan’s opinions on the judgment to play either Kuldeep Yadav or Mohammed Siraj in the upcoming match in Vishakhapatnam. The decision will rely on the state of the wicket, which may favor spinners. If so, Harbhajan feels Kuldeep should be added to the team based on his good performance in the World Cup.

On this, Harbhajan illustrated clearly that,

“In No. 11, it should be Kuldeep Yadav. He has the variations and he can also turn the ball in both directions. Recently, his performance was extremely good in the World Cup. If the team wants to add an extra spinner, the team should go with Kuldeep Yadav. If the wicket has something, play Siraj but if you think that it is a turning track, play Kuldeep as the fourth spinner”.

‘Lack of experience’ States Bajji on Indian Batting

Bajji Pajji even declared that Team India is missing the remarkable performance of run-machine Virat Kohli due to ‘personal reasons’. Also, we are anticipating that Virat is likely to come back for the 3rd Test against England.

However, Harbhajan Singh added further,

“There is a lack of experience in this Indian batting lineup. The batting would have looked a lot stronger had Virat Kohli been there. The likes of Shubman Gill and Shreyas Iyer have also struggled to get going lately”.
