Jadeja Exhausted About Unfair Treatment of Ishan Kishan: After the completion of  World Cup 2023, as the tenure of Rahul Dravid completed, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) asked for Ashish Nehra to take the coach position for team India.

But he rejected that and BCCI asked Dravid to continue meanwhile preparing his extension as the India and Australia series is going on so, BCCI has kept VVS Laxman as coach for the five-match T20I series.

Under the captaincy of Surya Kumar Yadav, India defeated Australia and won the series.

‘Was Kishan That Tired After Three Matches?’ – Jadeja

After the completion of World Cup 2023, many of them took a break like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. But India opted to release Ishan Kishan from the playing XI after the third encounter of the five-game series.

About this, Jadeja questioned the non-selection of Ishan Kishan in the T20I series as it reflected on India’s performance. Speaking to Sports Tak he said that,

“There was a series right after the World Cup. Ishan Kishan played three matches and went home. Was he that tired after three matches that he needed rest? He didn’t even play a lot of games at the World Cup.

He deserved his spot in the playing XI for the first few World Cup matches. How many Indian players have scored a double-century on a good day? He can change the game on his day.

When will he get ready? Will you keep him on trial all the time? In the last two years, how many games has he played? This problem of Indian cricket is not of today, it is very old that we don’t select (players) but reject them,”

Ishan recorded a five-ball duck against Australia in Guwahati for the T20I Series, by keeping the wickets for India. And also he added,

“Ishan Kishan didn’t even play the entire five-match T20I series against Australia. He was sent home after three matches to rest. So, if this is going to continue, how will you ensure that he is fully ready?.”
