Delhi franchise registered their biggest win in the history of IPL as they chased down the target of 90 with 67 balls to spare.

This was the 7th Player of the Match award for Pant and only Virender Sehwag (10) has more while playing for Delhi. Pant was happy after his team’s win and said that they displayed a “champion thought process” on the field.
“Lots of things to be pleased about. We talked about the champion thought process and our team showed today that we can play like that and really happy to see that,” he said after DC’s win.

“[On the bowling] Definitely one of the best, it’s early on in the tournament, can’t say much as we can improve individually. The only thought process before coming on to the field was coming in a better way, that’s the only thought when I was going through my rehab.
