Earlier on Sunday, Matheesha Pathirana and the age-defying MS Dhoni emerged as the heroes for CSK in a thrilling clash between CSK and MI. Despite Rohit Sharma’s stellar century for MI, CSK secured victory by 20 runs.

MS Dhoni’s performance in the last over, where he smashed three consecutive sixes off Hardik Pandya, propelled CSK to a formidable total of 206 for four. Pathirana’s superb bowling performance, claiming 4 for 28, further thwarted MI’s chase, restricting them to 186 for 6.
