Virat Kohli Meets Muttiah Muralitharan in Practice, Has Conversation with Legend Ahead of RCB vs SRH Match
RCB star batter Virat Kohli had a friendly conversation with SRH spin-bowling coach Muttiah Muralitharan during the practice sessions for the RCB vs SRH match that is going to be held at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on April 15.
Both teams have been involved in several fiercely contested contests, including the 2016 IPL final, where SRH came out on top to win their first title. This season has been one to forget for RCB this far, with the side losing 5 of their 6 games to find themselves at the bottom of the points table.
Ahead of the 30th game of the IPL match, many eyes will be set on RCB superstar Virat Kohli. The 35-year-old has been one of the most in-form batters, not just for his side but for the complete tournament. With 319 runs in six matches, Kohli is the current holder of the IPL orange cap and continues to perform.

Before the clash between SRH and RCB, Kohli was captured interacting with Sri Lankan Legend Muttiah Muralitharan. The ace batter and the spin bowling coach seemed to be engaging in a fun chat ahead of RCB’s virtual must-win game. The same video has been going viral over social media too.

Virat Kohli was at the beginning of his international career during Muralitharan’s sunset. So the duo faced each other rarely. The champion batter has played Sri Lanka, wizard, only in ODIs and has not been dismissed in 15 balls. However, the story is the opposite in the IPL, with Muralitharan dismissing Kohli twice in 39 deliveries, with the batter scoring 50 runs.
