IPL 2024: Star players Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma showed off their bromance during the MI vs RCB match on April 11 as the fans were left gaga on social media watching both pacer’s friendly interaction at the Wankhede Stadium on Friday.

The funny moment happened during the second innings of the match while MI were chasing the target set by RCB. Kohli had some fun at the Indian skipper.

While Rohit was batting, Kohli went on to blindside Rohit and give him at the non-striker’s end. This was early in the innings when Rohit was struggling to get off the blocks and the MI opener responded with a thumbs up to Kohli.

Coming to the match, Mumbai Indians emerged victorious by 7 wickets against RCB. Despite a struggle at the start, Mumbai Indians showcased their batting prowess with dominance against their opponents.
Jasprit Bumrah set the tone for MI by taking Kohli’s wicket in the first over, providing an early breakthrough. However, Faf du Plessis’s resilient 61, Rajat Patidar’s 50, and Dinesh Karthik’s 53 propelled RCB to a competitive total of 196/8.

In response, MI’s batting lineup exhibited exemplary performance by duo Ishan Kishan and Rohit Sharma. Kishan’s blistering 69 off just 34 balls kept MI’s in control, while Rohit Sharma’s steady innings of 38 off 24 balls provided crucial support. Suryakumar Yadav’s breathtaking knock of 52 off a mere 19 balls sealed the victory of MI in emphatic fashion.
