Parthiv Patel’s Big Warning to India Ahead of T20 World Cup: As the T20 World Cup has been scheduled for the next year, the India team has concentrated on the small formats of the game. And we know that recently India has won the T20I series against Australia, after losing the World Cup 2023.

After that win, India immediately announced the T20I series against South Africa, and mostly legendary cricketers like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Jasprit Bumrah were not in the T20I series, in this South Africa tour, the same team who played for the Australian series is going to play.

Former Cricketer Parthiv Patel feels that the Indian team management may find it hard to get the best combination for the T20 World Cup. There is a South African tour going to start, and after returning from that they need to play with Afghanistan.

Parthiv Patel said on Cricbuzz,

“India’s biggest challenge to me has always been finding that right combination, especially in the T20 format. And we don’t have games. Now we are talking about just three Afghanistan games if at all Virat or Rohit or Bumrah play in that.

So I think it is something which India will have to take into account,”

“Or else, they will have to go with whoever does well in the IPL. But then you will have to announce the team about halfway through the IPL as well. So it is a challenge.

I am sure that before announcing the team they must have thought of who is in line for the World Cup and whether we want to get them for the Afghanistan series. It is a tricky situation.”

Coming to Jasprit Bumrah, played only two T20Is and he mostly did not play due to his injury. Rohit Sharma and Virat have not played a T20 match since India’s exit from 2022.
