Virat Kohli Got Penalised For OutBursting With Umpires After Dismissal at Kolkata: RCB ace batter Virat Kohli got Penalised 50 percent of his match fee for outbursting his anger on the on-field umpires during a clash with KKR in Kolkata at Eden Gardens.
With the Umpires decision as Virat got dismissed in the match, he argued with the Umpires.
BCCI Took Action on Virat For Outbursting on On-field Umpires In Kolkata At RCB vs KKR
In the KKR vs RCB clash at Kolkata at Eden Gardens, on April 22, Sunday, Kohli was unbeaten on 18 runs of six deliveries while chasing 223 runs by the home side.
According to the IPL statement,
“Kohli committed a Level 1 offense under Article 2.8 of the IPL’s Code of Conduct. He admitted to the offense and accepted the Match Referee’s sanction. For Level 1 breaches of the Code of Conduct, the Match Referee’s decision is final and binding.”
with this Board of Control for Cricket has fined 50 Percent of his match fee for outbursting on the onfield umpires.

According to rule 41.7 of ICC regulations ‘Bowling of dangerous and unfair non-pitching deliveries’: Any delivery, which passes or would have passed, without pitching, above waist height of the striker standing upright at the popping crease, is to be deemed to be unfair, whether or not it is likely to inflict physical injury on the striker. If the bowler bowls such a delivery the umpire shall immediately call and signal No ball.
RCB are rooted to the bottom of the points table with just a win from 8 matches.
Now this has become a controversial topic many pundits and fans are discussing it, and some cricketers have spoken on this issue.
